Three Programmes. One Progression.

Each programme is a distinct point of entry into AI Engineering study. They are designed to build on one another — but each stands on its own for participants at the right starting point.

Our Approach

How the Programmes Are Structured

All three programmes share the same underlying structure: recorded lectures to introduce each topic, a live discussion session to work through questions and edge cases, and a practice component (notebook or project) that requires the participant to actually use what was covered.

The live sessions are scheduled — not drop-in. This is deliberate. The regularity of a scheduled session creates a rhythm that recorded-only courses do not provide. Participants know when to show up, and the session log shows who did.

Before each cohort begins, the programme team reviews the materials from the previous intake. Library versions, example datasets, and tooling choices are updated. Questions that came up repeatedly in past sessions are folded into the material or into the FAQ addendum for that cohort.

The goal is that a participant in the May cohort is not working from the same notebook as one who enrolled eighteen months earlier — even if the underlying concepts are the same.

Python notebook environment with code and output — AI foundations coursework

Programme 01 · 8 Weeks

Python for AI Foundations

RM 480

An eight-week online course covering Python as it is used in AI engineering: notebooks, packages, numerical libraries, and the small habits that make working with data and models easier over time. Each week combines a recorded lecture, a live discussion session, and a small practice notebook. The course is suited for learners with limited prior programming background; the pace is moderate and the practice is incremental.

What the course covers

  • Python syntax and the notebook environment
  • NumPy arrays and numerical operations
  • Pandas for data manipulation and cleaning
  • Package management and working environments
  • Basic visualisation and data exploration habits

Weekly format

  1. 1Recorded lecture (approx. 45–60 min)
  2. 2Live discussion session (60 min, scheduled)
  3. 3Practice notebook submission

Completion record provided to participants who submit the weekly practice notebooks.

AI Engineering Intermediate Track

RM 1,460

A ten-week intermediate track covering model training, evaluation, deployment patterns, and monitoring practices. The track combines weekly live sessions with self-paced practice and a small applied project at the end. Participants are expected to have completed a foundations course or to have equivalent self-study experience. The track is educational and project-based; the final project is the participant's own work.

Topics across ten weeks

  • Supervised and unsupervised learning — training and evaluation
  • Model selection, validation, and performance metrics
  • Deployment patterns: REST APIs and batch inference
  • Monitoring model performance after deployment
  • Applied project — participant's own dataset and problem

Track format

  1. 1Weekly live session with facilitator (75 min)
  2. 2Self-paced practice materials between sessions
  3. 3Applied project — weeks 8–10

Prerequisites: Python for AI Foundations or equivalent self-study background in Python and data manipulation.

Programme 03 · 12 Months

Cohort-Based Yearlong Programme

RM 2,920

A twelve-month cohort-based programme for learners who want to study with a small group across a year. The programme combines monthly live cohort sessions, paired courses across the year, and a final capstone project. Each participant is paired with a senior mentor for ongoing study support. The cohort meets monthly online and twice in person during the year. The programme is educational; outcomes depend on the participant's own work and engagement.

Programme structure

  • Foundations course integrated in months 1–3
  • Intermediate track integrated in months 4–7
  • Monthly live cohort sessions throughout
  • Senior mentor pairing — ongoing, not just at check-ins
  • Two in-person sessions in Kuala Lumpur (months 4 and 11)
  • Capstone project — months 8–12, participant-directed

Cohort size is capped. When the next intake is full, enquiries are carried to the following cohort.

Standards

Across All Programmes

Privacy and Data Handling

Participant data is used only for enrolment processing and programme communication. It is handled in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).

Pre-Intake Material Review

Before each cohort, the programme team reviews and updates library versions, example code, and reading references. Participants study from current material, not archived versions.

Response Time Commitment

Questions submitted outside live sessions receive a substantive reply within two working days from a facilitator who has reviewed the question — not a template response.

Transparent Programme Terms

Programme fees, what is included, what participants receive upon completion, and what the programme does not provide — all of this is communicated before enrolment, not after payment.

Cohort Size Discipline

Cohort sizes are set before intake opens and are not extended to accommodate late demand. When a cohort is full, the next intake is offered.

All-Inclusive Fees

The programme fee covers all scheduled live sessions, recorded lectures, practice notebooks, session recordings, and — for the yearlong programme — the mentor pairing and in-person sessions. No supplementary charges.
